You are cordially invited to attend the 2023 MLK Freedom Scholarship Fundraiser, on Saturday, November 18, 2023, in the Sandra Temple Elliott Ballrooms on UCM's Warrensburg campus. The social and silent auction starts at 6:00 p.m., and dinner begins promptly at 6:45 p.m. A dessert reception will follow the program.
Hosted by the Center for Multiculturalism and Inclusivity at the University of Central Missouri, our overarching mission is to foster diversity, promote inclusivity, and create a supportive environment for students from all backgrounds. The MLK Freedom Scholarship Fundraiser will feature student performances and a silent auction to raise funds for the Martin Luther King Freedom Scholarship, which assists students who are often from underprivileged backgrounds in their pursuit of higher education.
Scholarship funds raised through this event will be presented to students at the Freedom Scholarship Celebration, held on January 16, 2024. The evening will include appetizers, student performances, and student scholarships presentations.
