You are invited to attend the 2024 Martin Luther King Freedom Scholarship Fundraiser hosted by the UCM Center for Multiculturalism and Inclusivity on November 16, 2024, in the Sandra Temple Elliott Ballrooms on UCM's Warrensburg campus. The social and silent auction starts at 6:00 p.m. Dinner begins promptly at 6:45 p.m. A dessert reception will follow the program.
The Center for Multiculturalism and Inclusivity's overarching mission is to foster diversity, promote inclusivity, and create a supportive environment for students from all backgrounds. The MLK Freedom Scholarship Fundraiser will feature student performances and raise funds for the Martin Luther King Freedom Scholarship, which assists students often from underprivileged backgrounds in their pursuit of higher education.
Scholarship funds raised through this event will be presented to students at the Freedom Scholarship Celebration held on January 21, 2025. The evening will include appetizers, student performances, and student scholarship presentations. When registering for the MLK Freedom Scholarship Fundraiser, you will see specific levels have built-in pre-registration for the Freedom Scholarship Celebration in January.
