Please join us for the ribbon-cutting ceremony, reception and program to dedicate the new Hough Education and Counseling Center.
Thanks to a generous donation made by alumnus Greg Thurman in 2021, significant updates have been made to the technology and physical spaces for the program in what was previously the Lovinger gym. The UCM Counseling program has provided services for more than 50 years, and the new spaces will accommodate both the student population and the larger community.
The center is named in honor of Thurman's nephew and fellow alumnus, Dr. Michael Hough, who serves as superintendent of the Holden R-III School District. A brief program will be held at 4:30 p.m., followed by a reception with light refreshments.
